What is My Fundraising Badge?

My Fundraising Badge is an exciting feature that allows you to communicate your fundraising success graphically in this email. The badge contains your goal, your amount achieved, your progress thermometer and the percentage achieved. Want to see how it will look? Ensure that “Include My Fundraising Badge in this email” is selected and then click on Preview to see how it will in your email.

Can I customize a pre-defined E-mail template?
Yes. You can edit and customize all copy that appears in the text Body window.
Can I change the Organization’s Message that appears with my e-mail message?
No. The Organization’s Message is pre-defined by the Organization and cannot be altered by Participants. Should you have any issues or concerns with the Organization’s Message contact the Event Administrator.
Where will bounced-back/un-delivered e-mails be sent?
All bounced-back/un-delivered e-mails will be sent to the organization. Please confirm all contact details before sending out e-mails.
If I send someone a message, is it tracked?
When a message is sent through the system, the sent date as well as response (or lack thereof) is tracked in the Follow-ups area of the Participant Centre.
When I click on Save E-mail Message, is the e-mail also sent at the same time?
No. You must click on Send E-mail Message in order for an e-mail to be sent.
Is it possible to save an e-mail to Your Saved E-mails list after you have sent it?
No. You must click on Save E-mail Message in order to save an e-mail. If you would like to save an e-mail that you have already sent out you will need to re-create it and click Save E-mail Message to save it as a custom template.
If I select a custom message from the Your Saved E-mails list and send it, does this custom message remain in Your Saved E-mails list for future use?
Yes. All e-mails that you save will remain in Your Saved E-mails list.
Can I change the sender of the e-mail within the E-mail Centre?
The e-mail that you supplied upon registration appears in the “From:” field of the e-mails that are sent. You can change your e-mail address within the system in Edit Profile on your Home page.

Note: By changing your e-mail address, all system e-mails will now be sent to that new e-mail address.
