FAQs:
•   A Donor’s e-mail address is incorrect, can I change it?

A Donor’s e-mail address is incorrect, can I change it?
No. As a Participant, you do not have access to change a Donor’s e-mail address. The Donor’s e-mail address is entered by the Donor at time of donation and is irrespective of the e-mail address you have listed in your Address Book. If you notice that a Donor’s e-mail address is incorrect, click the Contact Us link on the Event Site navigation bar and have the Donor notify the event organizer to update their e-mail address (and re-issue a Tax Receipt if required).
If I re-issue a Tax Receipt do I have to notify the Organization?
No. The Tax Receipt is simply re-issued with the same Tax Receipt Number so there is no need to notify the Organization. It will be a copy of the same Electronic Tax Receipt (PDF) that was originally sent to the Donor.

Note: Tax receipting must be enabled by the organization for this functionality.
Who is listed in the “From” field of the e-mail when an electronic Tax Receipt is sent to a Donor?
The Tax Receipt is sent from the Organization’s e-mail address and not from the Participant’s e-mail. Given this, it is sometimes important for the Donor to check their junk e-mail box if they have not received their Electronic Tax Receipt.

If a Donor pledges my campaign by phoning or sending a cheque directly to the Organization, will the amount be reflected on my Donation History page?
Yes, but only after the Organization has received the funds, reconciled, and posted this data to the online event. As such, expect a time delay for donations sent to the Organization before they are reflected in Your Donation History or your Fundraising Thermometer.
Will the offline pledges that I enter through the system be reflected on my Donation History page?
Your donation history reflects only donations that have been received by the organization. Offline pledges will only be included in your donation history when you pay them off with your credit card or when the Organization receives the funds, reconciles, and posts the data to the event.
